Creekside Dinery has a big open patio space where families can relax in the open air without worrying about being extra quiet in the closed interior. Live music is performed on most days of the week. The restaurant website features a list of acts updated weekly.
The eatery focused on seafood dish favorites from local sources. Kids can also select from chicken tenders, fried shrimp, or even the kids’ crab cake if they are feeling a little extra daring.
Creekside Dinery is open from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 9 p.m. on all other days.
Burger Buckets
Location: 3 Cordova St, St Augustine, FL 32084
Burger Buckets lives and breathes that old-school American diner atmosphere.
True to its name, Burger Buckets is most well-known for glorious and large burgers and fries. The burger menu alone features about 15 different burger arrangements, including the Black and Blew Burger, the Hawaiian Burger, and the Surf and Turf Burger.
The menu also includes chicken sandwiches, sliders, chicken wings, and Cuban sandwiches. Kids can dive into the kids menu, featuring all the staples: hot dog, burger, mac n cheese, and pizza, among others.
Burger Buckets is open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day, with extended hours on Fridays and Saturdays.
Sunset Grille
Location: 421 A1A Beach Blvd, St Augustine Beach, FL 32080
Sunset Grille is good for all ages. You can find all the major beach-vibe staples, such as burgers, fresh catch sandwiches, and salads. You have access to televisions at one angle and the ocean from another.
For the perfect family-friendly restaurant with a beach atmosphere and ocean views, Sunset Grille is it. It is open every day, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Pizzalley’s
Location: 117 St George St, St Augustine, FL 32084
On the main historic walking street of St. George, you can find a whole wide range of family-friendly dining. But if you want to pop in for a quick bite and get on with your day, Pizalley’s is the place to see.
This popular historic stop has a small bar top area and some booth tables by the entrance. You head down the restaurant alley and to the counter to order pizza, salads, and various Italian bread. Everything is freshly made, and you can grab a slice of pizza for about $4. They are quite big, so you can feed a person at around $5-$6 with a fountain drink.
Most importantly, the pizza is fantastic, with thick cheese and a fresh homemade crust.
Keep in mind, Pizalley’s has a paid parking area behind the building and through the back entrance, but you will have to walk to St. George Street (a strict walking-only location) to get to the pizza shop.
Pizalley’s is open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and open to 9 p.m. all other nights.
A1A Burrito Works
Location: 671 A1A Beach Blvd, St Augustine, FL 32080
There are a few A1A Burrito Works in the area, but you want the quintessential burrito spot and the leader of the pack on A1A in St. Augustine. You get a nice family atmosphere, with tacos, burritos, bowls, and more from a counter service. Choose your seating spot in this authentic taco shop and hope some nachos drop your way.
It is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. with extended hours on the weekends and Fridays.
