Yoga

Keep up your yoga routine on vacation- or try it out for the first time! There’s no better way to balance staying active and relaxing. Yoga has healthy servings of both! There are numerous high-quality sources for yoga in town, including the Discovery Yoga Center and the Yoga Collective.

Discovery Yoga is located right downtown in a huge 1,300-square-foot studio space. It is an absurdly quiet and sensational area to relax. There are classes for the duration of your stay as well as one-time sessions available.

Ocean Sports

St. Augustine is all about the water and there’s plenty of ways to soak it all in around our St. Augustine vacation rentals. All the best outdoor activities involve waster in some way!

With the variety of available water, from tight canals to the open ocean, water activities are plentiful. We suggest a kayaking trip with St. Augustine eco Tours right in the heart of downtown. It is directly up against the Bridge of Lions. We also suggest a little water skiing if you have never tried it before. If you love to cruise, you will have a blast on a jet ski. Simply seek out a trip with Raging Water Sports south of town or over at the Conch House Marina. The site is directly next to the spot where you can grab a kayak.

Finally, we highly recommend Anastasia Watersports. It is extremely close to most of our St. Augustine rentals and gives you the best entry-point to St. Augustine’s epic 1,600-acre state park.

You can round out your ocean sports activities with a flyboarding trip with Extreme Water Adventures or some surfing (and lessons) with the St. Augustine Surf School. If you really want to get ambitious, you can get certified as a scuba diver with Sea Hunt Scuba or the Dive Source.

Book A Beachfront Resort Condo Rental

Our resort rentals range in size and amenities. Your family can stay right next to one of our pools or enjoy oceanfront views. Search all of our available condos here.

Golf

Looking to keep your feet firmly planted on the ground? Try a round of golfing. One of the most famous places to play in Florida is the World Golf Village. It is both a club and a museum showcasing the history of the World Golf Hall of Fame
There are also some fantastic opportunities over at the Royal St. Augustine Golf and Country Club. It is a welcoming and family-friendly course geared towards casual play.

Running Trails

Run a few trails to stay active. Fort Mose State Park stands as an early settlement for free slaves, and is known for its population of wild hogs and massive wading birds. Fort Mose is free of many family-friendly amenities, but that makes it a nice and isolated spot to run. There’s also the gorgeous Faver-Dykes State Park, with its accessible picnicking areas and canoe rentals.

Bike Trails

While most of the area’s parks feature dedicated trails for hiking and biking, few are as comprehensive and big as Anastasia State Park. It features big wide paths for bikes as well as tight hiking trails for on-foot visitors.

Local Gyms

If you want to stay active the old-fashioned and simple way, visit a gym. There are many catering to different types of people, such as the hard workouts of AMP Hardcore Gym or the friendly aerobics of Anastasia Fitness.
